"Save failed because the file could not be written to"

Recommended Posts

Hi

I have just been working on a document in Affinity Publisher and keep getting this error message when I try and close down and save. I have tried saving in various locations including Dropbox and local folders.

I have opened other documents and it just seems to be happening with this one. I am using V2.

Can anyone help? I can't afford to keep having these issues and losing a morning's work!

Thanks

Can you create a new Affinity Publisher file and copy the layers over to it, I'd suggest saving locally and uploading to dropbox afterwards, saving to cloud and network drives will likely give you a corrupt file.
