Assets panel not working

In AD1 my ASSETS panel works without any problem. I can export, import and drag images from my worksheet to the ASSETS panel.

In AD1, STUDIO and STUDIO PRESETS is located in the View menu between Lock Guides and Snapping

In AD2 and also AP2 my ASSETS panel does not work anymore. 
At first AD2 and AP2 worked perfectly.

Apparently I did something wrong but I don't know what it could be.

In the Windows menu there is a check mark for ASSETS, yet in the VIEW menu between LOCK GUIDES and SNAPPING I don't see a menu for STUDIO and STUDIO PRESETS.

There are also no pre-programmed ASSETS in the library.

I also can't import or drag images from my sheet to the ASSETS panel.

Then I completely uninstalled AD2 and AP2 from my iMac and downloaded and installed it again. And the problem persists.

I've looked for solutions on other forums but haven't found one.

Does anyone know a solution for this ?

And if you have no Assets in the Assets panel, it's broken.

1. Make sure no Affinity V2 applications are running.
2. Press Ctrl and start one of them. Release Ctrl when you get the Clear User Data dialog.
3. Deselect the first 3 options, and Select Reset Assets.
4. Click Reset. You will need to reinstall any Assets you had previously installed.

I view it as a workaround, though. The real solution will be for Serif to figure out why this is happening, and fix it

I am having the same issue but on my ipad.  I have removed the app and restarted my iPad but still nothing.   There are no preloaded assets and when I go to either add category or import it says it is downloading, but does nothing.  I havent tried this in AD1 but it is happening in AD2.  Any ideas?
