Replace master pages completely?

Hi dear people,

I have set the master pages in a document to A4 double-sided. This means a landscape format A3 with two A4 pages next to each other. But now I want to change the document so that the A4 master pages are single-sided. When I select all pages in the "Pages" panel and assign the corresponding master page ("Single page A4") to them, nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

ich habe in einem Dokument die Masterseiten auf A4 doppelseitig eingestellt. Also ein Querformat A3 mit je zwei A4-Seiten nebeneinander. Jetzt möchte ich das Dokument aber dahingehend ändern, dass die Masterseiten A4 einseitig sind. Wenn ich im Panel "Seiten" alle Seiten auswähle und ihnen die entsprechende Master-Seite ("Einzelseite A4") zuweise, passiert nichts. Was mache ich falsch?

I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to do, but perhaps you should just turn off the Facing Pages option in Document Setup?

Hi @walt.farrell,

thanks for this hint! So it depents on the Document Setup, how the export will be done. If I send it to the printer-setup and choose "save as pdf" (wich is possible on Mac) the printed PDF will be one-sided even if the document setup is two sided.

For the purpose of Exporting a PDF, you should not need to change the Document Setup. Just choose "Area: All Pages" in the Export dialog, rather than "Area: All Spreads".
