Without server connection, no start! Why?

Program does not start, but constantly tries to connect to server.

I have the following problem: From time to time I use an access to a local server in my network to load and save data there. Although I now make sure that I have saved and closed all image data before exiting an Affinity program, so that no access to previously used data on the server is foreseeable, the program tries to connect to this server on restart.

Since it is not always possible for me to connect to this server, I sometimes do not need this data, it is very annoying that the Affinity programs can not be started until a connection is established.

I suspect that it is probably due to the listing of previously edited projects. However, this is not acceptable. What happens if I have edited a project on an external hard drive and no longer own it, can then never start my programs and use. Absurd!

So either I am making a mistake, or the problem needs to be fixed, or a solution is needed to work around it.

Who can offer tips, or a solution, is welcome :-)

This is a known issue and is logged with the Developers.  There is a workaround outlined in this post which will get you into the app.
