jacekp Posted March 5, 2023 Posted March 5, 2023 It seems to me as a bug, but maybe it's a feature When mask is applied to the layer and then Gaussian blur is applied to the mask, blurring is visible on the layer content, but not presented on the mask preview. See the example: A. Blur applied to the mask - visible on the layer preview B. Blur applied to the mask - not visible on the mask preview Quote

Does the blur become visible? 1 hour ago, jacekp said: ...and then Gaussian blur is applied to the mask... If the intention is to blur only the mask drag the Gaussian B. to only affect the mask. jacekp 1 Quote

However, even when the filter is a child of the mask, Affinity currently does not render its effect in the preview of the mask. Hopefully, that will be changed soon, along with fixes to known bugs involving alpha adjustments nested in masks. jacekp 1 Quote
