Hello community,

I think may this isn't the right forum for my issue but the others are also not suiteable.

I have the following problem:

I have a favicon that has some circle-like curves. As you can see in the attatched curve-affinity.png those curves are rounded on their ends but are of one with inside. When exporting the curves as SVG for export (but also as SVG good quality-digital) in the browser (I've tested it with Brave, Firefox and Edge) I get the result shown in curve-browserview.png

Do you know how to fix this problem? Is there any setting in Affinity to fix it or is it a browser-view problem?

Thanks for any suggestions.

This looks like an issue with SVG output of strokes which have a pressure profile applied to them? (at a guess)

Is it possible for you to select the curves which output incorrectly and choose 'Layer'->'Expand Stroke' from the menu and see if it works properly afterwards? In my tests, it should be working?

I know that's not an ideal solution, but it might be enough to get you sorted for now?

Failing that, if you can attach a part of your design as an .afdesign file here, someone should be able to help.

Thanks!
Matt

It is the right forum, just not the right forum section here! - Should be moved to "Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)"!

☛ Affinity Designer 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Photo 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Publisher 1.10.8 ◆ OSX El Capitan
☛ Affinity V2.3 apps ◆ MacOS Sonoma 14.2 ◆ iPad OS 17.2
