Ross Burton
If I want a thick stroke to be on the inside or outside edge of the logical paragraph box I currently need to do the maths and set the offset appropriately as the painted stroke is always centred. It would be useful if the inside/outside/centre alignment worked for decorations to avoid this.

Ross Burton
Paragraph -> Decoration -> Stroke -> Alignment, in Publisher.

You may need to fiddle about with different settings for the alignment to the Text/Column etc for the Top/Bottom and Left/Right. Ross Burton
I mean if i set the left decoration to the column and make it 6pt wide, the centre of the stroke is the column. If I want the stroke to be on the inside or outside of the column I need to set the indent to plus/minus half the width of the stroke. Ross Burton
See attached. The yellow line is a 3pt line that I want aligned to the inside of the column, so I have it relative to the column but with a 0.5mm offset (I entered 1.5pt/2). If the stroke align setting was respected, I could just select align inside with a 0 offset.

Sorry, I had assumed you wanted a Box around the paragraph. There is no way to set the Inside or Outside alignment on open curves.
