even the many open source graphic design software support southasian,devnagari,indic,unicode language fonts.but why not a paid software like affinity is not supporting this.

if it support indian languages fonts,you will cover a larger user bases.

There are a lot of volunteer programmers working on OSS, most of them without pay.

Serif is a for-profit company, with a small team of programmers. Serif has to decide what makes economic sense. Support for Indian languages or other Asian languages, as well as right-to-left and vertical text input, are therefore far down on the to-do list.
