I've done several svg files in AD 1.0 in the past (for acid etching) without problem. This week I was doing a vinyl lettering job (for a glass window) using AD2 for the first time. The text was in 2 text boxes. Everything looks fine at my end but when I sent to the lettering company they said one of the text boxes did not show up. I do not know what program they are using their end.

I set about investigating and first tried grouping the text boxes - no luck. Then I noticed the default in the Layers palette was set to 'passthrough'. Could this be the problem? I changed it to 'normal' and resent it. So far I have not heard back so I assume it is OK?

Anyone else had this problem?

Below attaches - the pdf is an export of what I sent as an svg. The 'screenshot' is what they received.

Show instead the generated SVG file, also inspect it in a webbrowser and text editor in order to see what it finally contains and in what setup manner.

@Plasmazone, could you upload your Designer file so we can take a look. The issue doesn't exist with the PDF you uploaded but I wouldn't expect it to...
