Our school owns a Toshiba eStudio3505AC. I currently am trying to print a brochure from Affinity Publisher 2 but anytime I try to print it in color, it is coming out with a red shadow behind everything. I have posted a picture to show what is happening. It was originally thought that it might be because the file was created with RGB color format and not CYMK but I made I have tried to print with the file in both color formats. I am not sure what else could be causing this issue. I have the same issue if I try to export the file as a pdf and then print the pdf. Any suggestions? Other files from different programs print fine.

Are other documents created in other apps printing OK? I ask because it looks like a printer problem of some sort.

When you export to PDF I assume that you don't see the red offset when previewing the PDF file on-screen? If that's the case then the problem lies outside of Affinity Publisher.

I'm inclined to agree with @R C-R though, that this is a printer problem as there are several issues in the sample image relating to calibration and alignment in addition to the offset red image. This class of printer can go out of calibration and most have a recalibration procedure. This is the closest I could find to your printer to explain the calibration method. You may need to find the manual for specifics. Maybe your printer is similar to this one:

Yes I think it's a printer problem.

Meanwhile, you could change the color of the text to be black only, a true black :

Cyan = 0 ; Magenta = 0 ; Yellow = 0 and K (black) = 100%

We have started to have files created in other programs that present the same problem and so it does not appear to be an affinity-specific issue. Thanks for the advice and reply!
