just downloaded app designer 2.  Can I use an Apple Pencil on this please.

Then it would be easier to give a correct answer.

If you are using an iPad that is compatible with your Apple Pencil then yes certainly the Apple Pencil is the best way of using the Affinity Apps.

Thankyou Paul for taking the time to reply"……I am using adobe shop on iPad……are you finding affinity ok?
the main reason I have stayed with adobe is the cross-pollination of photographic file types (hope I make sence)

is affinity easy to learn?

Yes of course and much closer to a desktop app than Adobe’s efforts on the iPad which are more like toys. All of the Affinity apps are a free download and full featured and you can use for 30 days without buying anything. Try it !. There are lots of tutorials on the Serif site and You Tube so watch them as well to get best results.
