LindaYVR Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 I am using the Affinity Publisher 2.0.4 on a MacBook pro OS 12.6.3. When I export a doc to a PDF, then try to copy text from the PDF it looks like this: "These are fun exercises to pracce spong strengths. Please use the strength spong sheet on the last page for this acvity and provide a copy for everyone who is parcipang." The problem exists in the previous version of Affinity as well. Please fix. Thanks. Quote
walt.farrell Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 It looks like a problem with ligatures, to me. Two potential solutions: 1. Turn off the Standard Ligatures option in Typography in the Paragraph panel. 2. When Exporting, under advanced options, scroll down to the font subsetting option, and turn it off. You want the complete font embedded. walt.farrell Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 You're welcome. I'm curious which of the approaches you tried, if you can share that.
