madebywitteveen Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 Hi There, The goal is to create an animated SVG with each frame a separate file. My software (laseros.com) is the limiting factor and will only process separate files to create an laser animation. so: created this file with 23 layers of the same SVG beetle, each having a different size to end up with a zooming-beetle-effect in my lasershow. each layer and slice is a different size, you can see that when you click on. Unfortunately the exported files show all the 23 images with the same size. any ideas on how to fix this ? thanks in advance! H Quote
Old Bruce Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 In your Designer Persona you would need 23 different sized Beetles. I would duplicate and shrink 22 times, then put them in groups if necessary to make life easier. Then go to the Export Persona. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
madebywitteveen Posted February 1, 2023 Author Posted February 1, 2023 Hi Bruce, What you are suggesting is like this? (see photo) I think we mean the same. I had this thought: when I export each file separately choosing 'whole document' each time, the picture is different each time but the canvas isn't. Maybe that is the problem? thanks h Quote
Old Bruce Posted February 2, 2023 Posted February 2, 2023 I neglected to mention the most important part of this. Sorry Take your Beetle's layers and include a rectangle that is the ratio of the desired Exported SVGs. Duplicate it and include it in each layer. This Rectangle will need to have the stroke and fill set to clear and it needs to be the same size in each of the layers You can see the Tiny car layer consists of the Group of parts to the car and then a Frame Size rectangle that is the Ratio or Size of the frame. Now when I go and export all the layers I will get SVGs that are the same size (the Frame Size) with cars of different sizes. car.afdesign Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear.
