It doesn't happen every single time but it happens the first time I print a document 99% of the time. It's far slower to find printers/ swap to a different printer than v1 ever was (or any other app I use except Silhouette Studio) and crashes any time between trying a choose a printer, a print preset or after I've pressed print. It's happened across a range of different files. It usually works ok on the second attempt but sometimes it crashes completely 2 or 3 times before I can print. I don't have this problem in any other software including Photoshop Elements that's about 7 years old now!

Windows 11 (kept up to date) on a more than adequately specced up Surface Laptop

Affinity suite also kept up to date - i just tend to use Designer for my work more than the others

Printers range from an 8 year Brother inkjet to a 24" Epson (I have about 8 printers in total)

I had no problems with v1 or any other software. It has crashed one other time but I think I had too many things going on so wasn't that surprised. Only when I use print.

When it crashed twice this morning, I was running on battery with one printer plugged into the USB and nothing else was plugged in, so it's not any of the docks or USB hubs I'm usually connected to. I mostly print over USB but it does it whether I use a USB printer or a wifi one.
