Metadata in exr files

So I am seeing that the "embed metadata" option is not available for exrs or .hdr files. 

 

While I am not 100% sure about metadata support in .hdr, it is 100% supported by the .exr format so I am wondering why I cannot preserve it when exporting from Affinity.

You can see from this Help article the export formats we support and the available settings for each one. It has been requested so it may be an option considered for a future update.

Yes, I could see it wasn't included, hoping it's not too big an update as metadata is very important in exr pipelines.

 

As an aside I think there is an excellent case for more VFX pipelines using affinity so this kind of pipeline related feature would be great to see.
