Add a default hard round opacity brush to Affinity Photo

Recommended Posts

If Affinity photo claims to be a software that digital illustrators can use for their work, at the very least add a hard round opacity brush to the Basic brush set. It’s a very common type of brush and kinda annoying to have to make your own.
Here is one I made really quick from the iPad version. I’m sure somebody with more experience could make one better.

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

I guess I'm not sure what you're asking for, and how it differs from the existing Basic brush category in Photo and Photo 2.

Thanks!

What I meant is a hard round brush that changes opacity by pressure. The default brushes from the basic set don’t change with pressure, so you have to pick one and modify it to work like that. So having a hard round brush that changes opacity with pressure would be a welcoming sign for digital artists.
Hope I made more sense.

Cheers!

Thanks. Yes, that helps me understand what you meant.
