I am trying to edit some of the fine details in this scene and I can't send it over to the other Studio apps, even with the other programs open. I'm hoping I'm just doing something wrong and that the app isn't bugging out less than 24 hours after purchase.

From your screenshot, it looks like you are using Affinity Designer V1. Do you have V1 or V2 of Affinity Publisher & Affinity Photo installed on your PC? If they are the V2 versions then that might explain why the others are greyed out.

BTW, your title says 'can't edit in Photo or Designer' but I assume you mean Photo or Publisher, right?

I have had this same problem since I upgraded to Photo v2. Am using Designer V2 on iMac running Ventura 13.6.1

Does your AP V2 app have exactly the same full version number as the other two? Are all at v2.2.1?
