JeffGar2000
I have a couple of photoshop plugins that I like and want to use with Affinity Photo. They are Topaz Denoise AI and Pro Digitial Astroflat Pro. I have them installed under Photoshop and Affinity Photo but when I try to access them in Affinity I see them listed under Filters>Plugins but they are grayed out and I can't select them. I have tried reinstalling, installing to the plugins directory that Affinity uses by default, rebooting, etc but they are still grayed out. Any ideas? johnptd
What is the image’s format? If it is .FITS, export the file to a .TIFF and re-open the .TIFF version and try again. JohnD
firstdefence
Generally if a plugin is greyed out it's because the layer is not rasterised and or it's 16bit/32bit, most plugins require an 8bit rasterised layer. JeffGar2000
Exporting as 16 bit tiff and bringing back in worked! Thank you! Lysander

I read something about this but didn't understand how to fix it. Exporting and re-importing seemed to set it in the right space.
