suryamiharja
Hi There, Can you help me regards : I've open up a Freehand F11 file it looks good with vector type intact. But when I copy and paste it to Adobe Illustrator CS6 it turns to raster file (72 PPI)? Can any one help me how to resolve this? Thanks before
Staff TonyB Posted October 9, 2014 Staff Share Posted October 9, 2014 The current release only supports pasting raster data into other applications but next weeks beta build will include vector copy and paste.
suryamiharja
Ok. Thanks for your respond. I'll look forward the next update. I have a suggestion: Could you kindly make a Freehand category separated in the forum topic? So all the Freehand related topics for easy and quick reference in using AD. I've purchase this app to open up Freehand files (due to my previous projects in the past using Snow Leopard). Thx
suryamiharja
By the way. When I'm importing freehand file (FH11), the editable text is gone? AD can only import the Freehand FH11 file correctly if all the text are previously converted to path. Can any one help me with this matter? Tq guys
10on12
Export from Freehand > PDF. Open PDF in Affinity - works for me.
Staff Andy Somerfield Posted October 10, 2014 Staff Share Posted October 10, 2014 The next update for Affinity includes proper support for vectors on the clipboard. Hope this helps! AndyS
