I thought I saw that you can, but the msix files I downloaded are for Windows 10.  Sure hope someone can help me, I am really not ready for Windows 10 just yet...

Thanks!

So there is no older version that I can buy and install on Windows 7?

The above referenced FAQ tells that Affinity v1 apps are no longer sold, so you must Google and see if there is possibly a way to install V2 apps on Win 7. - Though honestly Win 7 is out of time and no longer realy supported by Microsoft (aka no updates, bug fixes or important security fixes etc.). Beside that the Affinity apps (v2) do need newer enhanced Windows APIs, which weren't available in Win 7 at all.

I do have a Windows 10 computer, can I unzip the msix files on it and then install on a Windows 7?

I doubt that would work because as I understand it, like @v_kyr said the V2 apps require functions in Win 10 or later to run.
