Mario Salerno Posted December 20, 2022 Posted December 20, 2022 On v 2.0, I went from a 12 to 20 pages document (Restaurant menu with imported images) and it wouldn't export to PDF. The spinning wheel keeps turning while trying to create a preview, until Publisher doesn't respond anymore. I have just updated to Publisher 2.0.3, but the problem of exporting to PDF remains. In other words, I am stuck as I cannot share my work with the client. Any help is mostly welcome! Staff Pauls Posted December 21, 2022 Staff Posted December 21, 2022 I was able to export that so it may be a problem with a linked file. If there are not too many you can try relinking those. A quck way is to make a package then open the package and try generating the export from there Quote
Mario Salerno Posted December 21, 2022 Author Posted December 21, 2022 I think I have found the problem. It's not an image but a font, apparently restricted, whatever that means. I have used for the last 25 years!!! Will keep you posted. Thanks for your help Quote
Staff Pauls Posted December 21, 2022 Staff Posted December 21, 2022 Ventura has restricted some fonts which is catching people out - which one is it ? Quote

Mario Salerno Posted December 21, 2022 Author Posted December 21, 2022 (edited) I still don't understand what "Ventura has restricted some fonts which is catching people out" means! 🙂 Edited December 21, 2022 by Mario Salerno Quote
Staff Pauls Posted December 22, 2022 Staff Posted December 22, 2022 Usually its one of the document support fonts listed here that causes problems https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT213266 Quote
