TYPE: Where are leading and kerning controls in AD 2 for Mac?

In V1, under VIEW, I used to find character controls under STUDIO. Where did they go? Feel a little silly asking, as no one else has mentioned this. Your help will be most appreciated!

If by character controls you mean the Character panel, it is now in Window > Text.
