musikinsnetz Posted December 14, 2022 Posted December 14, 2022 The new UI is certainly an enhancement in most places. However there are two items that make working for me more difficult: (1) The aspect lock icon I can hardly recognise the current state. The difference between the two states but I’m often not sure and have to click it to see where I actually was. I’ll certainly learn and will have it one day – but it’s not as intuitive as it was before: when locked, the chain icon had clear links to both fields and was white, when unlocked, these links were gone and it was grey. This has always been one of countless advantages in comparison to your huge competitor with their ugly and outdated and tiny UI. (2) Group icon in layer panel The layer’s panel, especially its UX has been much improved – except for one thing. I get the idea of the folder icon – but I do miss the preview of the group’s content. I now always have to give names to groups because otherwise they all look exactly the same in the layers panel. Quote
GarryP Posted December 14, 2022 Posted December 14, 2022 I can’t help with the first item (other people have mentioned it), but for the second item, use the Layers Panel ‘hamburger menu button’ (top-right) and choose “Show Group Thumbnails”. Quote
