Trying to Replace Image in a PSD file - Affinity Photo

Recommended Posts

I have a PSD file that lets me mock up artwork in a frame. It's supposed to be as simple as replacing an image in the layer labeled Your Image Here (see attached photo).  However when I click on that layer the Replace Image option is not in the menu. I think it has something to do with the red bars next to the layers but I don't know how to change that. When layers show up like that in Publisher you right click and edit detached but there isn't an option like that in photo that I'm aware of.  This is probably a simple fix, I just can't seem to find the right option.

That layer is a Pixel layer, according to your Layers panel.

Perhaps you need to enable an option in Preferences:
