NashvilleNewman Posted December 2, 2022 Posted December 2, 2022 Sorry if I’m not using the correct terminology I’m new to all this! I’m trying to make the background grass in this photo show up as the fill on the text if that makes any sense. So basically “cutting out” the inside of the font and replacing it with the grass background. Don’t care if there’s a black outline around the new “grass text” in fact, would prefer it. Thanks for any help you can provide! Quote
StudioJason Posted December 2, 2022 Posted December 2, 2022 Layers Panel > Clip (Drag) the Grass Image Layer into the Text Layer….just be sure to set the image over the Layer Description, not the thumbnail. Can then subsequently transform (move/resize/scale) the Grass Image from inside the text even. Quote
Arakel Posted December 2, 2022 Posted December 2, 2022 StudioJason has allready showed a possible solution. A perhaps easier option would be to use the image with the grass as the fill for the text. This can be be done with the Gradient Tool Quote
