Thanks for your report and our sincerest apologies for the delayed response here. We are exceptionally busy following the release of V2 and we thank you for your continued patience and understanding here.

We've since released version 1.10.6 for Windows which resolves many crashing issues in Affinity, following a recent Windows update.

Have you downloaded/installed this update, and if so does this resolve the issue for you please?
