Saving files on the iPad

Recommended Posts

Still seems like limited and confusing options there:

- If I want to "Save A Copy" ie. rename as Filename01 or Filename02 maybe (because that's how I work) the system always defaults to "untitled.afdesign" so I have to type the whole filename in again - and if I can't remember it exactly then it's a further problem

Why can't the apps just open up the File Location so I can see everything that's saved - click on the file I'm working with and then just add a number at the end? That way - I can also see WHERE the file is being saved - as the app often defaults to a different location because "that's just how it works" Why does it have to be so cryptic on iPadOS! Sick of Apple trying to dictate my workflow with their stupid, different to Windows way of doing things.

Also, if I'm opening a file from within the software why does it also only give me the option "Open from iCloud"? So I then have to click on the folder structure to "Open from iPad" - Maybe I don't want to work directly from the iCloud all the time! Why isn't it just "Open File"!

And why does the cursor never go behind the dot when I tap with the pencil? It NEVER goes there! Always to the left or to the right, but never in the place I'm tapping
