Affinity Rat
I thot the file manager association, associated the file type with the latest app installed, not so! My ipad opens v1 not v2 app in response to file manager double clicks.
Staff Lee_T Posted November 16, 2022 Staff Share Posted November 16, 2022 Hi Affinity Rat, Unfortunately Apple doesn't yet have the ability to change file associations in the files app. However you can long press and hit share to send to your V2 app. Lee
Affinity Rat
Someone here on the forum told me that the file association was related to the last app installed and this was why Procreate was my default for jpg, which it is, because I install Procreate after A Pho. Just checked my ability to share a jpg, mine shows Procreate, ADez, and A Dez2, no sign of APho 1 or 2. That
Staff Lee_T Posted November 16, 2022 Staff Share Posted November 16, 2022 Ok, the share options in iOS can be a bit... inconsistent. You can however make your own shortcut option for opening in whichever Affinity App you wish:
Affinity Rat
I would like to say great, but this no longer seems an option. Open. ….a particular file or Open in an Apple app, but no option to open in 3rd party.
