Ernst Walther
Question: Is Affinity V 2.0 compatible with Windows 7? Thank you in advance
MikeTO
Sorry, no. The system requirements for all three apps are the same - here is the page for Designer. https://affinity.serif.com/en-us/designer/full-feature-list/ Quote Download a free PDF manual for Affinity Publisher 2.5 Download a quick reference chart for Affinity's Special Characters Affinity 2.5 for macOS Sequoia 15.0, MacBook Pro 14" (M1 Pro)
Ernst Walther

I believe that V1 still works with Windows 7, but users must install some Windows Updates. Ernst Walther
Hello walt.farrell, Thank you for your reply. Until Win7 stopped its support some years ago I installed all the updates who where sent automaticly. If so, I hardly may see Windows as the trouble. Anyway, I am gratefull for your tipp. By now I am happy Photoshop CS6 is working fine and I am able to do my Composings as usual. Affinity may wait for a while but not forever I hope. All the best to you walt.ferrell - Greetings from Switzerland, Ernst

V1 releases beyond 1.9.0 require some Windows 7 updates that were, apparently, not automatic. There is some info about that in the forums, but I'm not sure where right now. walt.farrell
You're welcome. And I found the documentation I was looking for: However, that will not help V2 run on Win 7.
