One thing I really dislike about Microsoft products is the constant changes and associated learning that goes with it. So many hours learning new interfaces.

I’m not against improvements but many times the changes arent significantly better but are very disruptive.

Yes I know people, feel if they cant obviously see a change why pay for a new version. I think a good product listens to what its active base wants, not just bells and whistles most people dont care about, but developers need to keep themselves busy.

Keep up the good work regarding suggestions and implement them.

Adobe and Microsoft have both gone along the path of subscription based business model AND constant annoying changes, both of which users dislike.

So far regarding APho 2, I have yet to experience the benefits of the new version, but my work speed has dropped dramatically. There are both advantages and disadvantages of the new version, will see how it plays out after more time spent.

I think what people appreciate is reducing menu depth and number of clicks required to make a change. For example, when using the pen tool there are multiple times toggling back and forth between pen and node. The pen tool has pen mode and node mode, I dont want the additional click to move between modes, ADez is better here.
The removal of the back and forward arrows for undoing and redoing changes.

The sliders need a throttle, adjusting image size moves from 1000 px to 6000 px by barely moving my finger, other sliders similar.

Keep up the good work 🙂

Users tend to work in a consistent way, if the settings allowed detailed preferences then menus could be simplified, with the option of returning to default for a selected tool. So users get all tool interface options the way they normally work, the click “save as” and all parameters would be saved as a user interface profile.

Example: I adjust the opacity as a parameter when using a brush, but the default setting is flow. If users after adjusting all these parameters for all tools then save them in preferences then the menus could be vastly simplified, yielding a quicker easier interface the  uncluttered the interface, would requiring fewer clicks. This is a simple example but there are a multitude of options cluttering the interface that many users may never change or use. Advance and beginner interfaces another approach.

All the above circumvented by voice activated options.
