Undoing Style Picker in Table Strips All Table Formatting

Recommended Posts

Publisher V2 on Windows 10. I have a text table with text in different cells, formatted differently. After using the style picker to load a text style, I can click to apply that style to different text in the table as expected. However, if I undo one of these applications of the text style loaded in the style picker to text in the table, Publisher strips the formatting from all text within the table, resetting the text in each cell to the default text styling for the text table tool (currently Arial, 12, regular, left-aligned, etc.) It seems impossible to restore the formatting stripped in this way with any use of the history panel or the undo command. This could cost a lot of time and work if it strikes at an inopportune time.
