RickMakes
In V1 Designer, Photo and Publisher, the Zoom Tool and View Tool are accessible at all times on the side tool bar. It is also this way for V2 Photo and Publisher. V2 Designer has the tools in a pop up box. This is inconsistent and removes functionally. Since they are in a box, you can't double click on "Zoom Tool" to "Zoom to 100%" and you can't double click on the "View Tool" to "Zoom to Fit". I used that behavior a lot in the older version (I used to use that behavior in Adobe software back in the day too). I would ask that you please consider giving the tools their own icons and giving them the zoom behavior when double clicked. walt.farrell
Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, @RickMakes. The default Tools configuration was changed because they added new tools and the list got long, but if you like the old way with separate tools for that you can set it that way using View > Configure Tools.
