Dobbo Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 When saving to a network volume (pCloud) I sometimes receive the message "Save failed because ownership of the file could not be verified The document must now be closed" I've seen this before in other applications and suspect it may relate to saving (Command s) immediately following an auto/recovery save in the background. Force quitting the application then restarting and opening the recovery file will bring the image back at the last edit and it can then be saved. Mac OS 12.6 Quote
HAV Posted November 21, 2022 Posted November 21, 2022 I have the same thing with my Windows 11 computer using pCloud in Publisher. I never had any problems with V1 and I lost many, many hours of work because of this bug. This happened many times now. When the message pops up it forces me to close without giving me an option to save it to another file. No recovery file was available. I really need to have this fixed. My workflow has been completely compromised and I am forced to go back to V1. I hope you can fix this fast. I just noticed that I can not go back to V1 because the file was saved into a new format. Now I lost days of work. Quote
Staff stokerg Posted November 28, 2022 Staff Posted November 28, 2022 Hi @Dobbo and @HAV, Thanks for reporting this. We are aware of an issue with saving to pCloud and do already have this logged with the Dev Team. For now, we would suggest saving locally and then moving the file to pCloud. Quote
HAV Posted November 30, 2022 Posted November 30, 2022 I uninstalled V2 because of it. Once it is fixed I will be coming back, but how do I get notified that it has been fixed? Quote
