I started this thread here since the old thread is for iPad V1 apps.

Will there be an option for Light Mode on IPadOS in the near future? This setting is really helpful for adding visual contrast against certain projects especially for people who have visual Impairments, but it’s also better on the eyes during the day. It’s pretty standard as a setting on many IPad apps as well. Any plans to add this?

I wholeheartedly support this. Dark themes are inherently low contrast. You don't even have to be visually impaired in order to have trouble, my 60-years old eyes are fairly standard, and yet the poor choice of dark theme hampers the use of Publisher/Designer/Photo (currently I mostly use Publisher).

This is a problem in Publisher 2. Just checked the newest Designer 2 Beta, and still no fix there.

For reference, please se the sample image from the assets.

I feel like I'm going blinder by the minute using Affinity's dark mode. There is nowhere near enough contrast used in so many places that I can't figure out what's going on.

Please add light mode and/or increase contrast to make things easier to use.
