rorque Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 Resize canvas needs some love, but it's not something that requires reworking millions of lines of code, rather quality of life improvements. How it works now: he size between the X and Y axes is locked by default, which with resize canvas is in my opinion pointless. The anchor is set by default in the upper left corner, it would be more intuitive if it was in the middle. And most importantly, after accepting the operation and returning to the resize canvas, everything returns to the default state, it should remember the user settings, this is helpful especially when we do similar operations on several files. As I wrote above, this is not something that would require a lot of work, but adding this will significantly facilitate the use of this option of the program. KLE-France 1 Quote
TimLW Posted June 11, 2024 Posted June 11, 2024 I second this! Coming from PS where the canvas stays consistent after resizing an image, using Affinity Photo 2 is driving me batty with this lack of feature. The image blows up the canvas zoom after a resize, even if I'm resizing from large to smaller it blows up the canvas view every time. How can this not be an issue with most people who resize a lot of images in their daily workflow? Can it just stay consistent and locked to what we set the canvas zoom at without having to go back and reset it to 100% on every resize? Quote
KLE-France Posted June 12, 2024 Posted June 12, 2024 + 1 for all of this, but especially for centering the anchor. Quote
