Chryselers
The raw file is presented with a border in the corners, which the JPG lacks. RAW development is not possible in this way. Pentax K1II with HD 43 limited Roh
walt.farrell
That looks like vignetting. Perhaps you need to add or remove the Lens Correction. What lens did it detect? Is it the right one? Do you have lens correction being applied? If so, try turning it off. If not, try turning it on. Chryselers
The error only shows up in the RAW, not in the simultaneously recorded JPG. Only Affinity shows this error. Not XnViewMP, On1Raw or PSE. - The FF - lens HD 43/1.9 is designed for the full frame FF camera Pentax K1II.
walt.farrell
That's fine, but it would only show up in the RAW. Did you check the functions I suggested? They may explain the problem, or provide a workaround even if there's an Affinity problem. Edit: Forgot one other alternative. In the Assistant Manager, click Develop and switch from Serif Labs RAW Engine to the Apple Engine. Then try loading that RAW image again. But I'd still like to know what happens if you turn on or turn off lens correction, and whether Photo detected the right lens. I will mention, though, that I've seen a report from another user about this, so you're not alone. Unfortunately, I am unable to find it again right now. If I find it I'll link the two reports together, or maybe the staff member who responded in the other one will see this one. I tried several times, unfortunately I can no longer reproduce the error. Neither with lens correction set or not set (Raw-Engine Serif-Lab). The lens is not fully recognized correctly: it must not be called "smc 43/1.9" but "hd 43/1.9"; it is a successor with an improved coating. walt.farrell
