Hi. First of all Thank you for version 2 suite of this fantastic software. Unfortunately I have noticed that the file thumbnail generated by work created in version 1 of designer has now been replaced with the affinity designer icon when this work is saved in version 2. I have folders with hundreds of files created in version 1 and rely on a visual reference of these files as there can be slight differences in multiple versions of the same file. without this visual reference all the documents look the same and would take a tedious amount of time opening each file to see the the changes in each or re naming the documents. Is the icon change glitch or has image thumbnails been replaced?? I have attached an example image. Thanks for any help you can provide on this subject. Cheers guys!!

hi @mac2010, I had the same problem, it is an OS issue.

If you Google mac preview thumbnails not showing and your OS

You should get the instructions how to resolve this, I found the Mac Rumours instructions very clear with screenshots

To get the thumbnails to work when opening files in the Designer Open menu I needed a reboot.

Thanks for the reply Murfee. I rebooted as you suggested and this seems to have fixed the problem. Probably just teething problems while version 2 beds in. Il look for a solution before going in all guns blazing next time lol. cheers bud!!
