Digitally Fearless
I opened a publisher 1 file in publisher 2. I made a small correction on one of the pages, saved and closed. Later I accidentally tried to open the file on publisher 1 and it would not open. I wish I would have known this in advance.
MikeTO
That's correct, v2 can't save in a format compatible with v1 due to all the new features. It's in the FAQ but that's probably not something you read until you encountered this. The good news is now that you're using v2 you probably won't want to use v1 any longer. I'm going to keep v1 installed myself for a while for comparison but I converted all my work to v2, after backing up the v1 versions.
