Support for fuji lenses

Recommended Posts

I have two new fuji lenses - FUJIFILM XF 18mm f/1.4 R LM WR and FUJIFILM XF 33mm f/1.4 R LM WR that were released last year, and they have no support in Affinity Photo - RAW.

No lens correction, no lens profile!!!!!

When will there be support for these lenses?

Hi @Pedro.R,

Welcome to the Affinity Forums :)

I can confirm that Affinity Photo uses the LensFun database for automatic lens correction in Affinity.

Having checked their most recent supported lenses list, it does not appear as though your lenses are currently listed:

https://lensfun.github.io/lenslist/

Once these lenses are added to Lensfun, we can then implement support within Affinity - however as we're reliant on a third party library, we're unable to give an estimates for when this may be, my apologies!

Please note -

I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.

Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible.

Many thanks!

Hi @anghelenici nicolae,

Welcome to the Affinity Forums :)

As above, LensFun will need to add support for this lens, before we can support this in Affinity Photo - I have checked their latest database and unfortunately this lens is not currently listed, so I would recommend contacting LensFun to request they add this lens, when possible.

I hope this clears things up!

Hi @Cyberman,

Welcome to the Affinity Forums :)

I can confirm that support for this lens has been added in our latest beta version, 2.2!

You can find out how to join the beta program and test this for yourself here -

I hope this helps!
