jweitzel
Example: I've opened 10 pictures with portraits of my team in order to optimize and crop them for web purposes. If I want to make a nice cutout of the torso in the proportion 4:5 in those 10 files, every time I flip to the next picture, I first have to choose the crop-tool (! although afore already choosen) and even more have the setup again the crop tool to "proportion" and to "4:5". This is very annoying. (Smart alecs!: because every person is pictured in some other way, there is no help in a macro!) Therefore my feature request: At least in AFPhoto, the application should remember those tool changes or typed-in parameters in a lot of dialogues as long as it is running (=> dropped when app is quitted). Thanks for listening Johannes KLE-France

If you set up a preset for that custom ratio, when you choose that preset the crop tool will always open with that preset as the default the next time you use the crop tool (Even if you restart the app) Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. jweitzel
Yes, I do know that! But not in any case I do want to set up explicitly a preset! If I'm working 8 hours on AFPhoto, I would have 20 prsets and more! I do just want, that AFPhoto (and may be the other apps) remember the actual setup/parameter/aspect ratio (as examples! this counts for several other dialogs!) as long as thea are running. J.
