Not saving file while I work on embedded

I have the issue that i do a Affinity Designer File with embedded Afinity vectors inside it. I open the embedded file and modifed it, then save the file a lot of times, and when I close the file and open again. I lost all my work!!! Why is this?? help?

Ok, i now see the issue. I need to save main file before closing, saving embedded doesn't work.
