KFam
I selected a colour on a point using eyedropper. It displays on the selection and I proceeded to then use the selection tool for an area of the photo. When I used the flood fill tool, the colour that was painted on is different from the eyedropper selection. How do I fix this ? In Photoshop CS4/CS5 where I have been using in the past, it's pretty straight forward.
GarryP
What happens can depend on which “eyedropper” you are using. If you are using the one in the Colour Panel or Swatches Panel, once you have picked the colour via the Colour Picker, press the colour well of the Colour Picker (the little circle where the picked colour is shown) to select that colour, then try the Flood Fill Tool – see attached video. On the other hand, the Colour Picker Tool in the Tools Bar automatically selects the colour for you. 2022-09-30 08-11-23.mp4 R C-R
KFam
Thanks for the detailed video tip. Am still unravelling all differences from some tool behaviour different from CS4/CS5, NIK which I am accustomed to.
