One thing I want to do is create text perspectives such as keeping the text vertical while the text diminishes on a curving line into the distance. Another one is adding text to 3D obects such as a sphere. Are the necessary tools to this in Designer? What would be the best approach? Staff MEB Posted January 4, 2016 Staff Share Posted January 4, 2016 Hi Geoffrey, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) The Mesh warp/Perspective distortion tools are not yet available in Affinity Designer. They are on our roadmap to be implemented later. There's also no way to add text to 3D objects. Currently only Affinity Photo offer non-destructive raster based Mesh Warp and Perspective distortion tools. mohawk Posted February 18, 2016 Share Posted February 18, 2016 Hello, when will the tool for perspective distortion for text. it would be a very important tool that is often required. a 3D rotation with depth adjustment as with adobe illustrator would be useful.
