Miroslav
Hello, I am experiencing problems with displaying vector images, that were downloaded from Freepik database. Most of them were created in Illustrater and are in SVG or EPS format. Designer simply displays them as raster. Also I experienced today same problem, when client sent me vector image in SVG. See attachments: 1. Displayed in Opera web browser - all looks as should 2. Displayed in Affinity Designer This particular picture contains both raster and vector files inside. But this is not actually reason for displaying it damaged. But as I mentioned, I am experiencing problems also with pure vector files, downloaded e.g. from Freepik. I am using designer: 1.10.5.13.
Dan C
Hi @Miroslav, Welcome to the Affinity Forums I can confirm this is not a bug in the Affinity applications, it is an unfortunate side-effect of the required upload format for most stock websites being an .Ai file, within an .EPS 'wrapper'. As Affinity apps are unable to read this .Ai data, a low quality thumbnail of the file is displayed instead, which is what is shown in your above screenshot. More information regarding this can be found in the below FAQ - I hope this clears things up! Miroslav
