Trial Version

Is the trial version limited, or do you have a fully functional program for a limited time? I am asking this because I tried looking for the inpainting brush to remove items from a photo, which is nowhere to be found.

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

There's no restrictions other than the time limit. The Inpainting Brush is only available in Photo Persona. If you are working with RAW files, Affinity Photo opens them in Develop Persona which doesn't have this tool. Only after you click Develop in the top left corner of the interface you will go to Photo Persona for further editing. The Inpainting Brush is accessible clicking on the small triangle near the Healing Brush Tool (6th icon counting from bottom). Processed/regular image files (JPG, PNG etc) open directly in Photo Persona.

I am unable to get into Photo Persona. I get Pixel and Draw but no photo.

are you using affinity designer?

i don't have designer; maybe the inpainting tool is available only in affinity photo.

Pixel and Draw Personas are part of Affinity Designer. The Inpainting Brush Tool is only available in Affinity Photo.

All is good now, and this program is ridiculous, meaning, I love this more than paintshop or photoshop. The best program so far. I am going to play with it a little bit more, and definitely going to be buying it.
