Publisher: automatic crossreferences

In a 150 page scientific document I would like to insert cross-references. E.g.: "For further information see xxthis chapterxx on page xx." Since the pages can still be moved by inserting pictures and other pages, this would have to be dynamic. (similar to hyperlinks and anchors). But the heading or at least the page number should be inserted and updated automatically - i.e. text and not as a jump mark. Is that possible?

Unfortunately that functionality does not exist in Publisher.
It has been requested many times and Serif are aware of the requirement.
