I'm currently redesigning the Layer Studio and I'll be talking about the Letter C Layer Studio mock up in this forum post. When I removed Tags from the layer options to the layer studio I went ahead and removed the word "Tag." The reason why is because its not needed. Users will understand what these rainbow circles are when they start playing with them. It doesnt need to be spelled out for them and once they know what these rainbow circles do they wont be needing to see the word "Tag" anymore. So please remove the word "Tag."
