I'm currently redesigning the Layer Studio and I'll be talking about the Letter C Layer Studio mock up in this forum post. The icon for the Solo button in the layer options needs to be changed. Its an icon of layers but there nothing "solo" about it. I was trying to think about what icon would represent this solo button but I couldn't really think of anything. i had the idea of a spotlight icon but I was like no. And then I said oh! It should be 3 layers with one of the layer solid and the other 2 layers dotted out to show emptiness. That way that solid layer shows that its visible compared to the other 2 layers that are empty. I got the idea from the Merge and Rasterize button in the Layer Studio. Its pretty much the opposite of what I needed here. Or. I dont know. If you have a better icon please let me know. Im just throwing out the idea that the solo icon DOES need to be changed. This icon could be a placeholder for now. Below is an image of the new solo icon for now.
