Sviridon Posted July 4, 2022 Posted July 4, 2022 I don't see any photos that I open in the program. Instead, a completely black screen. At the same time, I see a histogram and I understand that the photo is loaded. But why can't I see anything, what could be the problem? See attach screen. Quote
Dan C Posted July 4, 2022 Posted July 4, 2022 Hi @Sviridon, Welcome to the Affinity Forums I can see in your screenshot that the thumbnail for the layer appears to show corrupted pixels, does this issue occur with any JPEG, or just the one shown in your screenshot? If this is the only image affected, can you please attach a copy here for me? It may be Metal acceleration causing this, so we can try switching it off. Please navigate to Affinity Photo > Preferences > Performance and at the bottom of this dialog please untick Hardware Acceleration. Restart the app as prompted and then try opening this image once again. Does this now display as expected? Many thanks in advance! Quote
Sviridon Posted July 4, 2022 Author Posted July 4, 2022 Thanks for your help. Disconnecting the metal solved the problem. True, after that it was proposed to restart the program and at the same time the entire macOS crashed, a black screen appeared on the entire computer, I had to force a reboot. This is all very strange. But anyway, now it works and opens all files. Dan C 1 Quote
