Embedded to Linked Document Settings on iPad

Recommended Posts

I know that it is possible to embed af file in ipad, however, is there a way to change the settings of it and make it a linked document instead? So if I edit the original file, the other file would be updated.

or alternatively,

is there a way to edit a template in Affinity Photo, which automatically updates all the files that uses that template?

On iPadOS any placed documents are embedded and there isn't an option to change this to Linked, this may be possible in a future version.

Also unlike desktop the iPad version does have an option to update the linked resources if updated externally.

I see. Thanks for the clarification. I hope to see this feature in the future updates. Affinity suite still rocks!! I am eagerly waiting for Publisher for iPad.
